A compact, fixed shore power connection point for tugs, fishing vessels, yachts, and service boats — motorised cable reel, configurable plug count, and optional electrical integration.

The REGBES Manual Charging Hub brings motorised, managed shore power to vessel types that are too small for industrial OPS infrastructure but too operationally demanding for basic plug-in solutions. A fixed pedestal unit with a motorised cable reel, articulated arm, and configurable plug head — installed at the berth, operated by port or vessel crew. Electrical integration is available as an optional add-on where the berth requires it.
A complete shore power connection point in a single pedestal unit — everything needed to deliver managed shore power to smaller vessels at a fixed berth.

The hub combines a motorised cable reel, articulated arm, and plug head in a single fixed pedestal. Cable deployment and retrieval is motorised — the crew handles the plug connection to the vessel. The number of plugs is configured at order stage based on the vessel's power requirement and plug standard.
The hub is available in two cable routing configurations depending on berth layout and whether electrical integration is included.

Cables run directly from the motorised reel through the articulated arm to the plug head. Clean, compact configuration suited to berths where the power supply is integrated directly into the pedestal unit or connected via underground ducting.

Cables loop from the reel to a shore box before routing to the plug head. Preferred when electrical integration is required and the power supply is located separately from the pedestal — common in retrofit marina installations.
The Manual Charging Hub serves a wide range of smaller vessel types — from working harbour craft to leisure yachts — across both commercial and marina environments.
Harbour tugs with frequent return-to-berth cycles. Shore power between jobs keeps battery capacity high throughout the shift.
Electric and hybrid fishing boats at commercial fishing harbours — shore power during offloading and overnight rest periods.
Port service vessels, pilot boats, and crew transfer craft — compact berths where a fixed pedestal hub is more practical than mobile CMS infrastructure.
Electric and hybrid leisure yachts at marina berths — overnight and short-stay shore power with managed cable handling.
Electric leisure motor boats and day boats — shore power at fixed marina berths with a compact footprint.
Any small electric or hybrid vessel with a defined berth position — the hub can be configured to match the plug standard and power requirement of the vessel.
The hub handles cable management — the operator handles the plug connection. No technical training required for day-to-day operation.
The vessel moors at its assigned berth position. The charging hub is already in position — no equipment needs to be moved or repositioned.
The operator activates the motorised reel to deploy the cable. The articulated arm positions the plug head near the vessel's shore power inlet. The operator makes the manual plug connection.
When charging is complete, the operator disconnects the plug. The motorised reel retrieves and stows the cable automatically — ready for the next vessel arrival.
The Manual Charging Hub uses standard IEC 80005-3 low voltage plugs — these are commonly available connectors, so plug compatibility is straightforward for most vessel types. The key configuration inputs are your vessel's power requirement (which determines plug count) and whether electrical integration to a shore box is needed at your berth. REGBES handles the installation and commissioning once the specification is confirmed.
Tell us your vessel type, power requirement, and berth layout. REGBES will specify the right hub configuration and discuss electrical integration if needed.
