REGBES was founded in 2022 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a single conviction: the maritime industry's transition to zero-emission operations shouldn't be held back by the last few metres of cable between a port and a ship.
We deliver complete shore power solutions, from cable reels and cable management systems to autonomous robotic charging interfaces and full onshore power supply (OPS) installations. Our end-to-end approach means port operators and vessel owners get everything they need from a single partner: the hardware, the intelligence, and the integration support to make shore power work reliably at scale.
Our product range covers the full shore power stack. On the physical side, we design and supply modular cable management systems, cable reels, and shore power cabinets — all compliant with IEC 80005-1, IEC 80005-2, and IEC 80005-3 — for vessel types ranging from e-ferries and Ro-Pax to container ships and bulk carriers. Where automation is required, our patented robotic charging interface uses image-processing technology to autonomously align and connect shore power without manual handling, regardless of plug standard or berth layout.
On the intelligence side, our AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS) and Power Management System (PMS) optimize the charging schedules around grid load, vessel turnaround times, and real-time energy pricing which help reduce both shore power costs and carbon footprint. The result is a fully integrated solution that works with existing port infrastructure and scales from a single berth to an entire terminal.
